When haute horlogerie meets precision electronics: Dynamic Motion is a partner in the project to develop the instrument dials of the new Bugatti “Tourbillon,” created by the Swiss watchmaker Concepto Watch Factory, renowned for creations at the crossroads of art, technology and luxury.
For the instrument cluster of the new Bugatti “Tourbillon,” whose exceptional design is the work of the brand itself, Concepto Watch Factory was commissioned to develop and produce all three dials. To meet the technological challenges of this extraordinary project, the manufacture called on the targeted expertise of Dynamic Motion, a specialist in custom embedded electronics.
Combining high-precision micromechanics with intelligent electronics: this is where Dynamic Motion comes in.
Designed for Bugatti, the “Tourbillon” instrument cluster is a true technical feat, integrating several micromotors in an extremely small volume. Inspired by the world of haute horlogerie, this component, with its demanding design, required electronics perfectly matched to high-precision micromechanics. It is in this field of innovation that Dynamic Motion established itself as a key technical partner.
A collaboration built on complementary expertise
Concepto Watch Factory, prime contractor for the project, developed three dials on behalf of Bugatti, working with specialized suppliers for certain critical subassemblies. Dynamic Motion, based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, was brought in from the earliest stages to design custom control electronics ensuring perfect synchronization of the Faulhaber micromotors with the cluster’s watch movements.
From mechatronic feasibility to industrialization support, including the development of custom electronic circuits, functional prototyping and integration testing, Dynamic Motion delivered concrete, reliable solutions that live up to the standards of this legendary brand.
“This project was a tremendous opportunity to put our know-how to work for a bold design. We thank Bugatti and Concepto Watch Factory for their trust and openness. It has been a rewarding collaboration that gives the word partnership its full meaning,” says Bernard Vaucher, CEO of Dynamic Motion.
Dynamic Motion now aims to become a supplier of electronic assemblies for the production of the Bugatti “Tourbillon” instrument cluster, continuing its successful collaboration with Concepto Watch Factory.
This partnership perfectly illustrates Dynamic Motion’s mission: putting technical intelligence at the service of creativity by delivering agile, precise and reliable electronic solutions, whatever the constraints.
